Glimmer

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026 · Last updated: July 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Zero Point Labs LLC (“Zero Point Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Glimmer iOS application (“Glimmer” or “the App”).

Glimmer has no accounts and no sign-in. Gameplay progress and reminder preferences are stored on your device. The App does, however, use Google SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising; those services receive the technical, usage, diagnostic, and advertising data described below.

1. Who we are

Zero Point Labs LLC is an independent software studio based in New York, United States. Contact: hello@zeropointlabsllc.com.

2. Information Glimmer stores on your device

Glimmer uses Apple’s on-device storage to save:

We do not operate a Glimmer account database or sync this gameplay data to a Zero Point Labs server. Remember reminders are scheduled locally by iOS; Glimmer does not use Firebase Cloud Messaging or upload a remote push-notification token.

Uninstalling Glimmer removes its local data from the device, subject to Apple’s device-backup and restore behavior.

3. Information collected through the App

Glimmer integrates Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), and Google’s User Messaging Platform. These SDKs may automatically collect or receive:

Glimmer does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, health information, financial information, or precise location. If you email support, we receive the address and information you choose to include in that message.

4. Our service providers

Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics helps us understand whether Glimmer is working and which features are useful. It receives a randomly generated app-instance identifier, gameplay events, session information, device and operating-system metadata, and approximate region information. We do not set a Glimmer account ID because Glimmer has no accounts.

Firebase Crashlytics

Crashlytics receives crash reports and related diagnostic data so we can diagnose failures and improve stability. This may include stack traces, installation identifiers, timestamps, app and OS versions, device model, and app state around a crash. We do not add your contact details to crash reports.

See Firebase Crashlytics and Google’s privacy materials linked above.

Google AdMob and advertising partners

AdMob serves and measures rewarded and interstitial ads. Google and participating advertising partners may receive device or app-instance identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, ad requests and interactions, product-interaction data, and technical diagnostics. The IDFA is available only when Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission allows it.

Learn more: AdMob & privacy · Google Business Data Responsibility · Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Where advertisements may appear

You may choose to watch a rewarded ad to receive one additional hint. Glimmer may also offer a frequency-capped interstitial at a natural break after completing a Play, Learn, or Remember puzzle. For established players, an interstitial may also be offered after leaving an active Play or Remember puzzle. Pacing and eligibility rules mean an ad is not shown after every eligible event.

6. Your advertising, tracking, and reminder choices

Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents a privacy message before Glimmer requests ads. When Google indicates that a privacy-options entry point is required, you can revisit those choices in Glimmer under Settings → Privacy Choices.

Apple may separately ask whether Glimmer may track activity across other companies’ apps and websites. You can change that permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining personalized advertising or tracking does not prevent you from playing Glimmer. Depending on your region and choices, Google may serve non-personalized or limited ads and may still process limited information for delivery, security, fraud prevention, and measurement.

Remember reminders are optional and independent from advertising or hints. You can turn them off in Glimmer’s Settings or in iOS notification settings.

7. How we use information

We do not sell personal information for money. The disclosure of identifiers and interaction data for personalized advertising may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under some privacy laws. The choices described above control that activity where applicable.

8. When information is disclosed

Information is disclosed to Google and advertising partners as described above; to vendors that help us operate the App; when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not permit service providers to use Glimmer data for unrelated purposes. We require third parties that receive user data to protect it under their applicable contracts and terms with us, with the same or equal protection required by this policy and applicable law.

9. Retention and deletion

Local gameplay data remains on your device until Glimmer is uninstalled, subject to Apple’s backup and restore behavior. User-level and event-level Firebase Analytics data is retained for no longer than 14 months under Google Analytics retention controls; standard aggregated reports may remain available longer. Firebase Crashlytics generally retains crash data and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning deletion from live and backup systems. AdMob report retention varies by report: user-activity reporting is generally available for 90 days, while some advertising, cohort, and privacy reports may be retained for up to 2,555 days. Google may keep limited information longer for security, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, or aggregated reporting.

To request access to or deletion of information we control, email hello@zeropointlabsllc.com. Because Glimmer has no accounts and third-party data is generally tied to pseudonymous installation or advertising identifiers, we may not be able to identify a particular record from an email address alone. We will nevertheless investigate and honor verifiable requests to the extent the data can be identified and applicable law requires.

See Firebase retention information, Google Analytics retention controls, and AdMob report retention.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising; and lodge a complaint with a regulator. You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.

For people in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases may include consent for personalized advertising and tracking where required, our legitimate interests in operating a stable and secure App and understanding its use, performance of our agreement with you, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent through the controls described in Section 6.

Contact us at hello@zeropointlabsllc.com to exercise a right or appeal a decision about a request.

11. Children

Glimmer is a general-audience puzzle game and does not offer accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Glimmer, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. International processing

Zero Point Labs is based in the United States. Google and its partners may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, international transfers are handled using safeguards described in the providers’ terms and privacy documentation.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through this page, the App, or the App Store listing as appropriate.
